Terms of service
Last changed 1 November 2026.
This is a draft. It is waiting for a legal review, and the parts in square brackets are not filled in yet.
1. Who we are
MintRender is run by [LEGAL NAME], [POSTAL ADDRESS] ("we"). These terms are an agreement between you and us when you use mintrender.com, the editor, the API, signed links, the MCP server and the free tools ("the service").
2. Accounts
- You sign in with your email address. Keep access to that address and your API keys safe; what is done with your keys is your responsibility.
- One Free plan per person. Do not make more accounts to get more free credits.
- A workspace can have members; the owner of a workspace is responsible for its members' use.
3. Plans and billing
- Plans, prices and credits are on the pricing page. Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance through Stripe.
- One image or one PDF page is one credit. Credits reset each month; unused credits do not carry over.
- Overage is off until you turn it on. When it is on, credits past your plan go on your next invoice, up to the monthly cap you set.
- You can change or cancel your plan at any time in the billing page. [Refund rules: to be set.]
4. What you may not make
Do not use the service to make or send:
- anything illegal where you or the people who see it live;
- content that pretends to be another person, company or official body, or copies their brand to mislead (impersonation);
- phishing pages, fake invoices, fake tickets or other content made to trick people;
- content that breaks someone else's copyright or trademark;
- malware, or anything that attacks or overloads the service or other systems.
We can freeze a workspace that breaks these rules. Frozen workspaces cannot render, and their signed links stop. To report content, write to support@mintrender.com.
5. Your content
- Your templates, uploads, data and the files you make are yours. You give us the right to store and process them only to run the service for you.
- You must have the right to use the fonts, images and data you put in. The Google Fonts and Twemoji graphics we offer have their own licences (see the brand page).
- Files are kept for 30 days on the Free plan and 365 days on paid plans, then deleted.
6. The service
- We work to keep the service running and to fix problems fast, but we do not promise it is free of breaks or errors. The status page shows its state.
- We can change features. We tell paying customers by email before a change that removes something they use.
- Rate limits and plan limits apply as listed in the docs and on the pricing page.
7. Our liability
[To be written with the legal review: the limit of liability, and what we are not responsible for.]
8. Ending
You can stop at any time and delete your account in the editor (Account, "Delete my account"). A paid plan ends at once. We can end or freeze an account that breaks these terms. After an account ends, its files are deleted as in section 5.
9. Changes and law
We tell you by email before these terms change in a way that matters. The law of [COUNTRY] applies. [Courts and consumer rights: to be written with the legal review.]
