Pick Imejis when

  • You want the lowest price per image: Imejis costs less than MintRender at each volume in the table.
  • You want a free plan of the same size (100 renders a month) with the image back in the answer, no polling.

Pick MintRender when

  • You make PDFs with more than one page: Imejis states single-page PDFs.
  • You want SVG output, QR codes, barcodes and charts in the template, and a batch from a CSV file.
  • You want signed links that make the image when someone opens them. Imejis' signed links are download links that end after at most 7 days.

Credit rules

Imejis

  • Each render is one image; no credits. source
  • The page states no overage price; above 25,000 renders it says to ask for enterprise pricing. source
  • Yearly billing is about 17% less. source

MintRender

  • One image or one PDF page costs one credit, for every template and every format.
  • If you send the same template and data again, you get the stored file for free. Previews, test keys and failed renders also cost nothing.
  • Extra credits are off until you turn them on, and you set a monthly spending limit. Unused credits do not carry over.

Move from Imejis

Make the template again in the MintRender editor (or start from a template), give each changing layer the same field name, then change the API call.

Imejis source

curl -X POST 'https://render.imejis.io/v1/YOUR_TEMPLATE_ID' \ -H 'dma-api-key: YOUR_API_KEY' \ -H 'Content-Type: application/json' \ -d '{ "headline": { "text": "Summer Sale" }, "price": { "text": "$29.99" }, "product_image": { "image": "https://example.com/shoe.jpg" } }'

MintRender

curl -X POST https://mintrender.com/v1/render \ -H "Authorization: Bearer $MINTRENDER_KEY" \ -H "Content-Type: application/json" \ -d '{ "template": "YOUR_TEMPLATE_ID", "data": { "headline": "Summer Sale", "price": "$29.99", "product_image": "https://example.com/shoe.jpg" }, "format": "png" }'
  • Each layer becomes one field in data, with its text or image as the value.
  • Imejis answers with the image bytes; MintRender answers with the file's URL.
